A Stubz mystery pack sold directly by Xyrena, containing multiple cards with at least one guaranteed chase, variant, short run, or exclusive.

A variant made in limited quantities

Chimera™
A Stubz with different artwork on each side

Common
A Stubz produced in typical run quantities. Also known as a base card.

Completist
A Stubz collector with the goal of owning every release and variant in a Stubz series

Double Feature
A Chimera Stubz in the Reel Fresh series featuring art from two different films (one on each side) typically from the same franchise

Drop
A scheduled Stubz release, either online or in-store

EAN Code
The 13 digit product barcode printed directly on Stubz. Stubz are produced in the US but use global standard EAN identifiers instead of North American UPC's.

Elastic
The elastic cord that allows Stubz to be hung. Stubz uses an extra-long string to clear various rearview mirrors, including those with integrated features like OnStar. Comes in various colors coordinated to the series or release.

Exclusive
A Stubz that is only available from a specific retailer or event

Facsimile
Any Stubz which includes a facsimile autograph provided to Xyrena specifically for printing on Stubz. Typically a common in the Fresh Faces series and a chase in the Reel Fresh series.

Fresh Faces™
Stubz series featuring influencers, creators, public figures, and celebrities

Fuzzies
The small, fuzzy remnants left behind after removing the Stubz Marquee. Fuzzies are minimized by cutting the perforation with scissors instead of tearing by hand.

Glow
A Stubz produced with glow in the dark or UV (blacklight) reactive ink

Header
The printed card at the top of the Stubz pack

Holder / "Stubz Hubz"
A hard protective case for Stubz and other trading cards. Stubz cannot go directly in acrylic cases without a sleeve.

Locked
When Xyrena has exclusivity to a license/IP in both the trading card and air freshener categories

Marquee
The removable top of Stubz which includes the scent name, barcode, and QR code to special features. The back of the marquee resembles a trading card grading label.

Minty Fresh
An unopened Stubz in its pack with header attached

Nonlinear Release
A Stubz released out of sequential order, intentionally planned for future distribution despite being developed earlier, resulting in gaps in numerical sequence

Oops
A Stubz printed with a mistake or error (like a misspelling)

Overlay
A transparent sticker barrier placed over a Stubz to facilitate direct autograph signing, preventing ink bleed into the absorbent paper.

Pack
The plastic wrap packaging around a Stubz

Perforation
The perforated line across the width of Stubz that is used to remove the marquee

QR Code
The scannable code on the back of each Stubz marquee which includes special features like exclusive interviews, playlists, showtimes, and more.

Re-Wrap
A Stubz that has been used for its fragrance then put back in its original packaging with the marquee and elastic intact

Reel Fresh™
Stubz series featuring movie art

Release Number (No.)
The consecutive number assigned to a common release in a Stubz series. If an exclusive doesn't have a common version it will just receive a regular numeric release number.

Run Reveal
Xyrena's official disclosure of the total units produced of a Stubz release, announced after the product has been discontinued.

Series
A Stubz line with a specific theme/subject

Shift
The inherent, slight variation of design position and border dimensions due to the nature of the Stubz manufacturing process

Short Run
A Stubz printed in extremely low quantities

Sleeve
A protective plastic cover used by collectors to protect Stubz. Stubz are compatible with polypropylene (PP), PVC (polyvinyl chloride), and PET (polyethylene terephthalate) sleeves and toploaders made to fit thick 79 pt and up cards. Also known as a "Penny Sleeve"

Smell-O-Vision
Stubz series featuring television show art

SouvenAir™
Stubz series featuring attractions, travel destinations, and events. Sold exclusively at physical retail locations.

Stock
The absorbent paper Stubz are printed on. 80 pt (2mm) thick.

Stubz™
The world's first, patent-pending air freshener / scented trading card hybrid invented by Killian Wells for Xyrena. Name inspired by ticket stubs.

Uncut Sheet (aka Press Sheet) 
A very rare uncut sheet of Stubz, typically not available for sale

Variant
A Stubz with different art or features than its primary or common release

Variant Number (No.)
Variants receive an alphanumeric modifier. For example, if a common or original release number is 5 and two chase variants are produced then their variant numbers will be 5B and 5C respectively. A is not used.

Wax Pack
A Stubz release in any series designed to resemble the classic trading card wax packaging popular in the 1970s and 80s. Featuring hand-illustrated, comic-style pop art with halftone and offset printing.

Whiffy Pop™
Stubz series featuring famous brands, mascots, and pop culture moments
